Beekeeping in the modern world has economic importance. Bee products such as honey, pollen, wax, propolis, royal jelly and bee venom are important as a raw material for the production of certain food and other products. The value of bee products is lower than the benefits that we have due to bee pollination. Unfortunately, bees are highly vulnerable by use of a larger portion of plant protection products which are used for the destruction of pests by growers of fruits, vegetables and other agricultural crops.

Plant protection products

In order to keep the bees healthy and »alive« please remind all users of PPP (plant protection products) that:

– The application of systemic pesticides hazardous to bees, in the flowering time of cultivated plants is strictly prohibited.

– Use of contact, bees hazardous pesticides is allowed during night at a time from two hours after sunset until two hours before sunrise.

– During the flowering plants pesticides are not allowed. If the suppression of disease or pests is necessary, spraying has to be done with the preparations, which are not hazardous to bees.

– PPP should not be used in the heat above 25 ° C.

Please share this information across the web, so that this apel will get to as more farmers as possible!
